Iain Bundred works across strategic media projects at Ogilvy PR. He has more than a decade of experience working in political communications as a former adviser to Prime Ministers in the UK and Middle East.
As Managing Director of the Corporate Practice, Iain provides strategic counsel to global brand accounts, offering insights on corporate communications campaigns and the public affairs landscape in the UK and beyond.
Recent clients include the UK Trade & Investment authority, Safaricom and the Dogus Group. In recent years, Iain has also led campaigns for Governments across the EU, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East as well as some of the world’s largest white goods and oil and gas companies. Over the last 18 months, Iain has also been supporting Ogilvy’s PR and advertising clients across Sub-Saharan Africa, recently being appointed Head of Strategy for Ogilvy Africa PR.
Previously at Downing Street, Iain led the Government’s media and communications planning as Chief Spokesperson to Gordon Brown. Before joining No10, Iain worked as Special Adviser to Work and Pensions Secretary James Purnell.
Iain began his career as a researcher and press officer at the Labour Party. He holds a BSc in Government from the LSE.
